Asher has extensive experience in the business of both private and public corporations in the medical device and the biotech industry. Asher is a serial entrepreneur and senior leader with over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry and is recognized for transitioning emerging technologies from concept research to clinical standard of care.

His expertise covers a wide range of activities in the management of medical device companies, including product development, clinical studies, regulatory affairs and marketing. Asher founded several successful bio-tech companies, among them: InspireMD (NYSE MKT: NSPR), a medical device company which improves treatment of patients undergo stenting related to heart attacks. [Served as Founder, President, Chairman, and as a director] InpireMD went from a start-up to a public company under his leadership. Prior, Asher has founded, managed, and served as chairman and board member of several startup companies that have succeeded in the marketplace.

Asher is the founder of several successful companies among them UroGen Pharma ( NASDAQ: URGN). Asher served as the chairman of Urogen leading the company through the regulatory process and set the company strategic plans. Asher founded many successful start-ups and serves as a director in numerous MedTech companies.
Asher served as Worldwide Manager – Biosense Carto System, and member of the Operational Management Board from 1997-1999. Biosense is a leader in medical sensor technology. Biosense was founded in Haifa, Israel with headquarters in New Jersey, and was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 1997, subsequently merging with Cordis Webster to become Biosense Webster. Biosense developed and marketed a novel guided imaging system for craniological and electrophysiological applications which has become the worldwide market leader in cardiological applications. At Biosense he was responsible for development, regulatory, clinical studies, reimbursement, and marketing operations.

Dr. Holzer has specific experience in the development and commercialization of various catheters in the electrophysiology and cardiology, as well as a vast experience in the low noise amplification devices.
